One of the vendors was selling drug paraphernalia -- lots of selection and pretty colors. When I approached an officer who does weekend duty there and told him about this, his response was that it wasn't illegal! When I open up the newspaper or watch the news and see that another youth has died as a result of drug use -- another life has been cut short -- it makes me very sad. The officer's response makes me angry, and so do the owners of this flea market who rent space to this vendor! Help me to understand why this isn't wrong or illegal. If parents question where their teens get the drug paraphernalia found in their bedrooms, go to the flea markets! And please have the common sense to know that tobacco isn't what's being smoked in the water pipes! Ruth Miazgiewicz, Fort Worth - --- MAP posted-by: Don Beck
