We're offering a GREAT grouping of sheet music today including some with super art covers from the 20's & 30's, very desirable movie sheets and a few from some favorite performers! This one is titled "IN MY HOME TOWN" by Bert Kalmar and Harry Ruby, published by Waterson Berlin & Snyder, 1922 with 5 pages. Near mint condition with a lightly penciled name and very minimal edge wear. Cartoon like cover art by famed cover artist Barbelle shows the policeman swinging his club in the foreground, while in the background you can see the drinks being passed at the Elks Club. Great lyrics! I'll include part of the chorus: "We've got a great police force too, In my home town, He wears a uniform of blue In my home town. There's not a drop of hootch in sight, They've got the lid down pretty tight, but down at the Elks Club it's al-right, In my home town." Hope you'll take a moment to see the other items we have listed! (ebay July 2004)
