All about drugs

Everything you ever wanted to know about drugs especially if you are a parent who cares about your child. I have attempted to capture information that might help you understand more about this complex problem. My son never talked to me about heroin but he did talk to his mother making some innocuous comment that "gee I heard that there's a new kind of heroin out that you don't have to inject to get high" Boy was that the worst piece of information he could have ever listened to. He wasn't stupid but he was easy prey for drug peddlers who apparently could care less or perhaps wanted to hook their customers. I still can't believe that people can be so evil. I still can't believe that my son died from this horrible, horrible drug. This is a work in process so check back often!!

It's a Wed, 12 Jan 2000 article in the Washington Post that with the help of new technology shows any drug use can damage or destroy brain cells. If we could somehow show people the irreversible damage that can be done (with this new technology) I think we could make a difference.

the case against hallucinogenics---Anybody remember Art Linkletter and his lone radio campaign to inform everyone about the dangers of acid? His daughter dived off a tall building while high on LSD. That was 30 years ago. There are no telling how many people refrained from using this drug because of his tireless and selfless efforts. Unfortunately, our youth are not hearing that message anymore. LSD use is on the rise. Now we need another Art Linkletter to come along and remind our youth of the danger of this drug.
